Welcome to AWP.
We are a boutique Sydney-based forensic psychology clinic.
What We Do
AWP offers a range of forensic psychological assessments and interventions. Our work is typically referred by lawyers, government and non-government bodies (such as Child Protection Services and Out-Of-Home Care agencies), and medical specialists (such as psychiatrists and paediatricians).
We provide high quality psychological assessments with evidence-based psychological assessment approaches and psychometric tools. We integrate multiple clinical frameworks to formulate the patient’s mental health and neurocognitive functioning in addition to their risk issues. We recognise the critical role that timely assessments play in legal matters and in access to services, which is why we focus on delivering assessments that are both efficient and of the highest quality. We are competent in conducting forensic assessments in Cantonese and Mandarin languages, reducing interpreter-related limitations in medico-legal matters.
We provide psychological treatment for a number of clinical and forensic presentations across the age range, including trauma, domestic violence (both victims and perpetrators), child and adolescent mental health, parenting issues, neurodevelopmental disorders (including autism and ADHD), mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders.
We provide external consulting and supervision to organisations and professionals on complex mental health, disability, trauma, and forensic matters.
